Mine is a simple message.
To anyone who may currently be dealing with the following:
Coming to terms with your Sexuality.
Dealing with pressure from your Church community.
Dealing with pressure from your Family.
Dealing with pressure from your Friends.
Or simply doubting yourself or your current life in general.
I have felt very similarly, if not close to exactly the same emotions you are feeling now.
A lot of us on these forums have too.
You are not alone.
You have support here when you need it.
Be brave, face your troubles head on,
and you too will be able to look back in the years to come, and feel proud you didn’t let things get the better of you.
There is a family out there for you. They do not have to replace your current one.
But they are new friends that will welcome you, and make you realise that in our community, you don’t stand out.
You are very normal.
