LOL, I think I have just been repremanded! 😆 my friends are doing it on purpose, the more things you have to take the less clothes you can pack. There is nothing more embaressing that a parent who is trendier than you are, and since we all know I wear my grandmothers curtains anyway it wouldn’t take much.

In terms of Family First yes they did offer me a position. Apparently I had a ‘unigue and touching’ story. Personally though I can’t think of anything worse than making homosexualiy a career, as if it didn’t bug me enough in my personal life! I don’t feel like I have resolved my own issues in a way that leaves me free to minister to others, I am still learning and I wouldn’t want someone else to take the brunt of my learning curve.

Thats not to mention the obvious, that my job is connected to my degree, and my accomodation and I have a contract 😆

I think I was offered the job because I fufilled a ‘need’ within that particular team of people. They needed a female staff worker who had personally experienced homosexuality and would photograph well from what I could gather. I don’t think they asked me because they truely believed I was the best person for the role. You can relax and stop stressing, just chill 😆

Do you know about the curtains story Anthony?? It sounds worse than it is if you don’t know the story 😆

I was giving a presentation at college for an assessment task and apparently i wore a top that no other person in the world would be seen dead in… One guy described it as looing like his grandmothers curtains. I now never leave the dorm without geting a ‘uniform’ inspection to make sure I look reasonable 😆

I thought it might have been something like the waltons…….money was scarce at home and Mum made you a dress out of curtain material……I think my original perception was quite romantic and touching……you should have left it there Sandy instead of letting me know that you had poor dress sense 😆 😆 😆

LOL damn I”ll have to remember that! Although I’m not sure dad would be thrilled people assume he didn’t dress his children well, dress sense is quite close to his heart I think. I don’t undersand it at all, if it fits then thats good enough for me.

Personally I almost wish that your romantic touching version was what actually happened, when I was too young to be responsible for my own dress sense. But alas at twenty four I have been dressing myself for years much to everyones amusement apparently. If it gets any worse I might have to sell out and buy a magzine that tells you which colours are ‘in’ this season and gives you cutesie matching outfits to buy. Makes me bored just thinking about it.
