Dimonds are a girls best friend… or so the song goes. Can’t say I’m much of a dimond fan though, they catch on your clothes and look pertentious 😆 Your not likely to see me in anything I can’t play footy in, except when I visit my dad, have to make the extra effort cause he makes GQ look daggy.

You cook pasta and I’m putty in your hands 😆 You may even convince me to help with the cleaning up. That was always my ‘job’ when I lived with Marina, she wouldn’t let me withing 5 meters of the uncooked food, her survival instinct kicked in 😆 Living together is fun, you’ll get the hang of it all.

In The first part of my journey I found discussiopn forums on Liberated sexuality, wife swapping and started studying it and talking to God about it. I gradually came to realise how big God’s grace is, and we are justified by faith. I was in a sorry state sexually, so I talked to God about it as I went searching for a female that my wife would let me have an affair with. YEAH, RIGHT like that’s going to happen! Actually She did let me a couple of times then it got messy and she was jealous of course. I then rekindled thoughts of bisexuality and she is OK with it. So really, I was determined to stay in fellowship but bite my lip when sexual rules were discussed in the church. Someone told me at length, how evil it is to masturbate. He himself was recently divorced and looked a frightful frustrated cranky mess. I just said I didn’t see things the same as he did. I mean, the first thing I found was the freedom to enjoy my body as God created it. I have no problem with that.

I think after no longer being able to suppress our true sexual orientation, we hide from God merely out of years of wrong teaching by the church, so I say ther answer is to “study to show yourselves approved of God, …. need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word..

I read books on Grace, and got it into my heart that if I put God first, he will direct my paths. So far he hasn’t come down on me for having a bi male friend, or seeking out a bi couple. He just tells me to stick to the agreement I made with my wife, and that I must keep my priorities in the right order. Kevin

I will be honest with you Kevin, you have added an interesting thought (to me anyhow) about God and sexuality encompassed as a whole. Its something I am wrapping my head around 😯 😆 but I am so glad you have been so honest (may I say even candidly honest), it makes me wonder how many are out there throughout the church in this position that we know nothing about.

Sometimes I feel I have gone through life with an almost fantasy of an expectation of some sort of perfection from the church and elder members but as we know that isnt so, we arent in heaven yet 😉

Im in a “hmmmm” space 😉

Lov ya magsdee. If we can influence each other to feel good where we’re at and grow as Christians, that’s the whole point. I am candid because i want to spark debate just in case I’m off the track, and because that’s my style. Pull me up if it’s too candid. So many hide what they do.

There are lots of questions I need to ask WRT bisexuality. I’ll post these bit by bit. There are lots of study resources on line and even very candid books on the subject of Christians and sex. It’s refreshing and such a relief to contemplate being sexual and right with God at the same time.

Bless ya Magsdee, 😉 kevin

[rubbing hands, ravenous look in eye, starts to salivate] Well, if you’re asking for debate…! 😀

[composes self, clears throat, straightens back] Sorry. What I mean to say is I respectfully disagree with your views on sex. Admittedly, I’m hardly an expert on the subject, but I do believe that the Bible is rife with condemnation of extra-marital sex, and while you may not be going to Hell for your views (as per practically all of Romans), you still need to practice some level of self-control in this area.

Naturally, if you don’t believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of God then this debate will only go around in circles and get into dangerous territory already well charted*.

Welcome to the forum, God bless,

– William

* You may alreay know this but there were a few debates about the infallibility of the Bible a while ago, and they didn’t end well.
