I thought others may be interested in this site which is a collection of LGBT immigration stories. The purpose of the site is to give a nurturing space for creating community and access to information that will support others during a time that could potentially be one of the most stressful and difficult transitions in their lives.

If you or someone you know has an immigration story and you are willing to share it you can email it through the site.

The link is to an article I wrote for the site about using metaphors in counselling conversations with gay men and lesbians. But you can find many other stories on the site as well. Many of the stories here are about people whose lives have been affected by religious intolerance.
