Have you ever experienced Stigma for something that is a part of you? Sexuality, spirituality or illness? Many people live with stigma and discrimination every day because of HIV/AIDS and this can can be very crippling for an individual who is trying to deal with this part of their life. The ENUF campaign highlights the experiences of stigma and resilience in its many forms from people living with HIV and using their voices and stories to make a stand – saying ENUF is ENUF. Ben Riethmuller (Laird Leatherman 2012/2013) is well known to the GLBTIQ community for his tireless tackling of HIV stigma and discrimination, through the UNUF Campaign, his own Laird leatherman campaigns, by helping to open up the conversations that are desperately needed. One of those areas is about being in a sero-discordant relationship and how HIV can be managed, together, so it doesn’t get in the way of a healthy relationship. – Do you want to know more of Ben’s story? Come along Friday, October 18th and hear a truly amazing guy tell his story. http://www.enuf.org.au/
