F2b October

Hope you can join us for our last formal chapter meeting for the year!

There has been much derision in the queer community with the release of “Stonewall”, a fictionalised feature film about the riot which kicked off the gay pride movement in the western world. Many complained that key activists were missing, and a lot of the diversity of this 1969 movement has been “whitewashed”. This month at Freedom2b we will be watching a documentary about the actual events of Stonewall, New York. Come along and learn about our history, ‘cos God forbid we repeat it … well all least the bad bits!

Event Location: Victorian AIDS Council Building, 6 Claremont Street, South Yarra. The entrance is at the side of the building. Just ring the door bell and we will come and let you in.

We welcome you to also join us afterwards at La Porchetta, Toorak Rd South Yarra, to continue the conversation.

7.15pm for a 7.30pm start. For more information or any queries please email [email protected] or call Linda on 0430045585

Hope to see you there!
