From Adversity to Acceptance to Advocacy
For our June meeting, we will be joined by Brad Jones who will share the challenge and reward of his journey. When asked to give us a description of his talk, this is what he said:
“The more I find out, the less I know”
Brad is a one-man bearded freak show whose life has taken many unusual twists and turns. His education is piecemeal, his part-time job unremarkable. On Sundays he hangs out with a bunch of other misfits at a daggy building in Maroubra- Hope Uniting Church. Together, they muddle towards the goal of being faithful disciples of Jesus in their local community. In his down time, Brad loves to run, bodysurf, camp, ski, play soccer, watch Aussie rules, and just about anything else involving nature and exercise.
