We are so pleased to have Robert Williams come and share some of his story. Robert was born on the end of the baby boomers generation. He grew up in a conservative rural area of England. He was married in 1988 and had 2 children. He was church secretary at Somersham Baptist, a village preacher and worked for a Christian research and campaigning organisation similar to the Australian Christian Lobby. Migrating to Australia 15 years ago he quickly got involved in Christian politics running an electoral campaign for Family First when Steve Fielding was elected. He became Victorian State Director for the ACL and later board president at Mountain District Christian School.
But Robert carried with him a dark hidden secret that no one could ever know: since his earliest sexual awakenings when he was 9 Robert knew that he preferred the look of men to women…
Hope you can join us as Robert discusses some of the unique issues that the Bay Boomers generation faced and still face today.
