I wonder if we should all begin to tell our ex-gay stories in the Ex-gay Myth or Miracle section of this forum. Not like the stories here but specifically about our ex-gay experience.


Basically answering these four questions



  • Why did you seek an ex-gay/reparative therapy/conversion therapy group/organisation

  • What was your experience like during the time

  • Where are you now on your journey of faith/sexuality

  • What would you say to anyone considering attempting to change their sexual orientation through such a program

Hi there,


I wanted to say thank you to everyone who has responded, and the welcoming spirit in which I have been received. This forum is a good place to encounter other people’s experiences as I seek to make sense of my own.

its a god send isn’t it. Something so many of us desperately needed years ago…..but alas there was nothing or no one we could go to who genuinely understood.
