Liverpool would be great! I’m in Campbelltown. None of the churches around here are at all inviting to me.

Thanks for the invite Frogger! That’s really sweet, and sure, I’d certainly be interested in joining you guys.

I grew up in a Baptist church, then moved to a Church of Christ which I enjoyed a lot more. I’ve tried Anglican, Uniting; I liked the Church of Christ, it was a nice mix between charismatic, which I find a bit overwhelming, and the “Hands-in-pockets” worshiping, which I find a little dull – No offense to anyone 🙂 just not my thing.

I’m going to try the MCC but it’s sooooooooooooooooo far away, I got all excited on the day last time… then got too lazy to get my act together and get up there. Hopefully this month though! I’d like something closer though so I can go every week if possible. I know I won’t go every week if it’s so far away. Silly really, since so many people travel that far everyday for work … 🙁

Right you are! This time we managed to get off our lazy butts and hike over there, in the rain at that!

I was trying to remember what your picture looked like, that was you in the toilet huh? Such a lovely place to meet someone 😆

As an Anglican, I have found the two Anglo Catholic city churchs to be very accepting. As well they have the best traditional choral music in Sydney.

My preference is Christchurch St Laurence at Railway Square ( Central Station) near the junction of Pitt and George.

However St James King Street runs a close second , though it is a little more concervative in appearance.

there are a whole bunch of Uniting churches that are welcoming…..but i can’t find the list. I picked up a brochure at the Common Dreams conference the other day about it.

any know if these are listed on the net.

Us ex-pentes……seem to find it hard to fit into tradional church worship styles.
