Wow 2.5-3km I wouldn’t be able to walk that far! 1.7km I am unsure if I’d survive either. I have hip and spine problems which would make that a marathon effort for me. I would have to train for it. 😀 😀 :tired:

I’m sure we can find a way. 🙂 There will be a vehicle after all, and we’ll carry you if we have to. 😉

That’s sweet, Mr Summit. I’m still not sure if I’d be able to get to Sydney this year. We’ll see. I have an exam two days before the march! H) :O

another thing to always consider is that we have to be in the marshalling area several hours before. As MG has to organise about 10,000 people…..and several hundred floats…there is no real negotiation on this. Once in the marshalling area and found out allocated spot in the parade…….we are free to move around a bit and have look at whats going on………but it can be a long wait. I think we are fortunate again this year in that we will be place early in the parade……..this helps
