Yeh maybe I will, I was in touch with him ages ago and only a few years back via my counsellor in Perth who is good friends with him. Its kindve funny emailing him and telling him that yes I was wonderfully saved and changed by your message of hope but I couldnt stay heterosexual as much as I tried. I have feeling it will bring some healing. I know he is compassionate and very understanding, an absolute gorgeous human being. Your suggestion actually stirred up a part of me that still feels a bit of shame but not in a way that would send me backwards. Thankyou, maybe now I can deal with it for good.

hi Lamb…..I thought that Sy is no longer involved in the church or choices ministry. He is living in Florida. I met up with him while he was in Sydney

He was in Singapore for a conference on this issue recently so I guess he

is still involved to some extent. But if he is now in Florida, I would imagine some of us would not miss him too much.

Life goes on and the work is so much for the ministry of the believer to the gay community. In essence, it does not really matter what was preached by COOS. There are so many events coming up, and we really need to pray like never before.

If you do visit Singapore, do send me an email privately, and we would love to hear you share your testimony and ministry in our “underground” Cell Groups and Church. Naturally, everything would be done quite low key.

Blessings

Underground cell groups, sounds like when christianity started out in the book of Acts. It can only grow and prosper since the Lord truly blesses those that seek after him and you all are.

I saw Sy spoke at Hillsong’s Sex and Sensuality seminar a couple of weeks ago and I thought he was very encouraging. I know that he got married etc… but what is his stand on homosexuality? I thought he was against it but finding out that you caught up with him AVB, maybe he’s neutral?
