Friends, this is a difficult time for us. As we mourn the passing of our brother Damien, many feelings and emotions are stirred and the pain is very raw.

Please remember that our F2B chaplains and pastoral carers are available for anybody who would like to talk through what they're are feeling at the moment. Don't hesitate to call or email your chapter leaders, chaplains or pastoral carers, all of whom are happy to chat over the phone or meet with you face to face.

You are not alone. You are loved.

Hi Matt

I'm very sorry and saddened to hear of Damien's death.

Thank you for your support. It's good to know that we have you and others like you looking out for us in the f2b family.

Blessings,

Ann Maree

I told my friends about the loss of Damien as an example of the danger of the ex-gay programs. Glad I walked away from the same denomination that would also say that suicide results in one going to hell etc. It is tragically easy to see how one would be driven to depression and suicide when locked into a social setting that insists that everything you are and everything you do is sinful.
