A good question, not one I am terribly sure on as I didn’t make it. I’ve always assumed it to be a splash of paint or something.

One of the challenges with making the new website is actually in keeping the old logo. It basically has two components: the Text and the Splash.

We’re not really keen on changing the logo since we already have T-shirts and banners with the old one printed on it, so while I’m taking some liberties with the arrangement of the Text and the Splash (namely moving the splash behind the text) and the colours, that’s really about it.

Essentially, we’re moving from something like this:

To something that looks a bit more like this:

did actually mean anything…..just a bit different artistic logo. sometimes people have asked why the e is in [e] as well…………….just makes it more noticable.
