Had the please of meeting Steff at our last Sydney meeting. She along with her friend Tony have started up a weekly social event at The Coffee Emporium in Church street each Monday from 5pm for people from faith backgrounds and living with same-sex attraction.

I copied the info from their pamphlet below, including contact details. If you are in the area looking to connect with others going through similar journey's, it would be great to have you along.

Faith & Sexuality DO mix

Are you living with a same sex attraction and/or

unique sexual identity?

Are you exploring this area of your life and feel

unsure of the path ahead?

Are you confused about your sexuality and your

faith and would benefit from comfort and assurance

in both of these important areas?

Or do you know someone who is?

Two local Christian workers, Steff and Tony, are

seeking to be a source of friendship, comfort and

Christ’s love & acceptance to you, as you explore

your life through your sexuality and your faith.

Steff, a 26 yr old woman, is gay and also in a

loving relationship with the Lord. She attends an

Anglican church in the Inner West.

Tony, a 52 yr old man, is married with 4 children

and has lived with sexuality issues throughout his

entire life. He is also in a loving relationship

with the Lord.

We are an open friendly group, looking to love,

respect and encourage one another. We meet at the

Mars Hill Cafe, Parramatta on Mondays from 5pm.

Come and join us.

Thanks for posting Shane! My first Freedom2b meeting was a great introduction to how wonderful this community is.

I'll keep an eye on this post if anyone has any questions or wants to get in touch.

Cheers,

Steff

Great work Steff and Tony. Wonderful to see things like this happening. I also love Mars Hill Cafe. 🙂
