Thanks for posting this.

Some food for thought if you'll pardon the pun! 🙂

I do have a problem with the "expert's" use of the term "gender identification" however. I realised he was referring to the idea that from childhood we need to identify with parents of the same sex (fathers for boys and mothers for girls) for healthy development. It helps us in relating to the masculine and feminine within ourselves and others. However I think this process is much broader than gender. It's about having a role model, a mirror, someone to look up to. And it's to do with development of the masculine and feminine from a psychological perspective that's within each of us. On the other hand, when he refers to problems in 'gender identification', I immediately think of those who are intersex or transgendered and the gender issues that can arise with those conditions. And that's very different to what he meant.

Unfortunately for me straight is a lot more likely than skinny.
