Freedom 2 b[e] Youth (18-30)


The Freedom2b[e] is networking LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual, Transgender) people from Pentecostal/Charismatic/Evangelical Backgrounds. As it is grows, more and more young people are joining and participating in the online forum and attending chapter meetings. Sydney Freedom2b[e] Youth usually meet bi-monthly for social activities.


Friends and supporters welcome.


Whether you have left the church or are still there, Freedom 2 B[e] is a non judgemental, safe place to assist people on their journey to reconciliation.

hey Penny….thought I’d jump in here in case Bec doesn’t get to the forum for a few days.


We decided that we’d have youth at 18-30…….specifically for the new demographic coming in. We also felt that the over 30’s have been reasonable well catered for and established…..to say nothing of the different needs of the different generations.

Details for this Friday 18th July – meeting at the Burdekin 2 Oxford St Darlinghurst from 6pm. Come as you are, for as little or as long as you like and join the F2b youth gang for a drink and a laugh!!

Yep…….we don’t want those who have gone past the big 30 by a couple of years to feel they wouldn’t be welcome.


I did have a couple of people nearly 40 ask……..thought that was stretching it a bit and defeating the purpose of getting the youngins together. We have our regular chapter meetings for everyone….and the 35’s up are well represented and catered for.
