Have just been watching Bob Brown on Q&A – (ABC TV) he addresses (beautifully) the issue of same sex marriage – and shares a little of his own experience. Q&A repeated on Tuesdays at 12.30PM I believe. Worth watching this repeat or online.

Despite his 40 years in politics, he seems to have retained his idealism and pragmatism and not let it deteriorate into cynicism – as many politicians seem to. His challenge to Gillard and Abbott re gay issues was excellent, and his reference to Christian values quite interesting.
