An article in Adelaide’s The Sunday Mail captures the dilemma of the Anglican Church in Australia. The Australian Bishops have take up a moratorium on the blessing of same-sex unions and the consecration for ministry of openly lesbian or gay clergy. In the meantime though, good people like the Revd Ali Wurm suffer deeply.

Steven – thanks for alerting us to this matter again. Ali certainly deserves our support. Her bravery in speaking out, but her graciousness in not identifying individuals, shows her integrity. We can only trust it all causes others in the church to question and rethink their entrenched attitudes.
