New church opens arms in Northcote

Melbourne’s newest GLBT inclusive church is holding Sunday meetings in Northcote.
Acts2Faith Fellowship was founded recently as a contemporary church where everyone is welcome “regardless of status, sexual orientation or background”.
Pastor Becky Bauer (pictured) says the aim is to give people who have not always felt welcome at church a lively and vibrant place to worship and build a community.
“We believe church should be joyful – so we have plenty of contemporary music with a message that is relevant to everyday life,” Bauer says.
Acts2Faith Fellowship meets every Sunday at 3 pm at 2 East St, Northcote.
