Thank you for sharing your moving story. I was came from a Pentecostal background and was in full time ministry for 24 years, so your story resonates loudly with me. I knew of my gay self from a very young age, but in an attempt to do what I had been taught was right, I kept them hidden, married, divorced and finally came out. At the time I lost everything, friends, ministry and so on, but in the ten years since then, I’ve never once regretted the decision. God has remained faithful and given me hundreds of opportunities to let folks know, like you stated, God and gay DO mix (and rather well, I might add).

Hey Ken…..great to have you with us……thanks for the encouragment all the way from Denver……..do you mind me asking what denomination you were with. I was ordained AOG as we call it here but preached in nmany different denominations.

Interesting screen name by the way. I was in CCC circles too and I believe I went to your church up the sunshine coast once or twice. Glad to see you’re in such a comfortable place. Praying that God will do crazy stuff in your life 🙂
