If the link is to the old site then I’ve noticed that it doesn’t work. I suspect, that, while it’s inconvenient, the problem will pass with time…

That’s right – any links to freedom2b.org/phpBB2/ will no longer work, so rather than just throw errors, I have them redirecting to the new forums front page. It has to do with the fact that the site is now running on completely different software.

Hi avb

Yes, thanks I’m remembering to tick the subscribe box at the bottom of the page so as to receive email notifications. I have noticed that we don’t know who’s online now whereas with the old site we did. Is that correct or am I missing something?

The forum index page has a “Currently active users” section right down the bottom, which lists who is currently browsing the site, though it doesn’t go in to details like which part they’re browsing.

Sorry Chris, I can’t find a ‘Currently active users’ bit on the bottom of any pages. I know I’m technologically challenged but I’ve searched in quite a few places…

Meg says it may be because my browser is internet explorer which doesn’t always recognise newer language. Can you fix/adjust from your end so it works?

Ah ha!

Not an issue with IE – but an issue with anyone who is not a forum moderator. Fixed now!
