Wow! Thanks for posting this. And what an excellent essay! I loved reading it.

Excellent point. Further to some of the Christians you have encountered, I have thankfully also known supportive Christians who despite being taught that homosexuality is wrong, have been able to put this idea secondary to loving others and standing up for justice. In particular I'm reminded of Chely Wright's father who responded in such a gracious way when his lesbian daughter came out to him. He came to the realisation that he knew his daughter and that truth won over what he thought he knew from the bible about homosexuality. He urged other parents to open their hearts.

I second it was a great night on Friday night. Lots of great impute and lots of great questions. And the leaders did an awesome job of presenting the night :). The resources listed are really well worth a read. Also great to see some of the Sydney F2B folk up here 😛
