Hi guys,
Not sure if this is the right place to post this, so feel free to move/delete as you see fit! I'm just putting some links to some resources which I've found interesting and helpful. These don't appear on the f2b list of resources, so I'm pretty sure I'm not doubling up on anything.
Odd Man Out
OMO is one of my favourite blogs right now. OMO's author, Brent Bailey regularly posts thought-provoking articles about what it's like to be gay in the church. Currently, Brent is interning with the Marin Foundation in Chicago and he is blogging his experience as he goes – these update blogs are just as insightful as his previous work. When I found his blog I went back to the beginning and read everything he posted. Well worth it! OMO can be found at http://www.oddmanout.net/
Voiceless blog
Voiceless is a digital zine about being LGBT in Abilene Christian University in the United States, but they also run a blog which is more generally about being LGBT and Christian. I haven't quite read through everything on there yet but it's been very interesting so far! Posts are contributed by multiple authors so there are a variety of viewpoints to be found here. The Voiceless blog can be found at http://voicelesszine.com/blog/
The Alison and Becky Story
Alison and Becky are a Christian couple in the UK. Their Tumblr blog is full of thoughtful posts and roundups of links to the latest articles online. They do a good job at answering people's questions too, and their testimonies are a great read. Their blog can be found at http://thealisonandbeckystory.tumblr.com/
Like I said, if this isn't the place for this kind of post then just let me know! I'm a bit new to this forum, so I'm still learning. Still, if you haven't read any of these blogs yet give them a go and see if you find them as useful and interesting as I have.
