How did your wedding go Pentatropics?

Hey Mags – thanks for asking! My wedding at Pentecost was wonderful. Sorry I haven’t been around – just got back from my honeymoon 😉

We had a simple service at home in casual clothes, with just us, the pastor, and our witness who is a gay christian we’ve known for many many years. As our first act together as a married couple, we celebrated the Lord’s Supper.

And yes – we did it for love as well. We deliberately had no guests, one reason was to avoid the charge of being politically motivated, i.e. trying to make a point. We were quite surprised by the genuine remorse of family and friends that they weren’t invited and we have promised them we will have a big formal wedding when the laws are ultimately changed, but we will view that as a renewal of our vows since in God’s eyes, we are joined in holy union. That’s what really counts.

I’d love to post a photo or two of our wedding but I don’t seem to know how… Can anyone help me??

everyone is congratulating Dash……but Petey and Dashs wedding was actually nearly 2 years ago……thought I should let you know.

What – and they’ve just got back from their honeymoon (lol) ??

Thanks for your wishes AVB – yes Wayne and I were joined in holy union at Pentecost. A couple of weeks prior, as we were in the planning phase, he also decided to give his life to Christ which I had been praying for, but not actively soliciting. Praise God!
