In regards to Bec_oz, I think bec you know it isnt humanly possible to reach everyone with the gospel, but its our responsibility to reach out to those around us when opportunity arises or sometimes we can create opportunity (just an eg. in a gay cabaret nite the Lord had it on my heart to talk to a young boy and I did, he almost cried and the other gay guy there was so touched his mouth opened soooo cool God is so good)

So Sandy, I do believe bec knows that we cant reach everyone and God wont blame us individually if it doesnt happen, one day it will over time but not everyone will accept it!!!!!

Funny enough God is doing the work himself aside of us, in a moslem country a person had a vision of Jesus and he got saved, a whole village had a dream for a week about Jesus and about an enormous over 10,000 got saved, I know of one guy who went to a little village in sth america in the amazon somewhere and the villagers had had a visitation and he preached the gospel to them and they got saved too. God is not limited to us thankfully.

Sandy, I miss so much that stares me in the face in the bible its not funny, wink even with scripture you could read it a million times and yet see it in a new light again and again, its the word of God and has as much depth as God himself so often. I really liked what you wrote.

Oh and also true, the government has to monitor and at least look at the overall picture I agree but even if the government were to allow rights for homosexuals I dont think their could be enough of a good case for paedophiles to legalise doing what they do as well, i mean thats downright mistreatment of a minor, different kettle of fish. In Canberra brothels are legal already, polygamy i dont know what to say to that ? and in regards to beasitiality that is such a rare thing that I cant see the government allowing that as an accepted thing in society, tho in America you can marry your Dog….hmmmm new meaning to dog breath in the morning. wink

Wow, you can marry your dog? What is the world comming too! Yeah alot of people tell me they find it a nice change when I’m humble… Am working on that, knowledge is just so importnat to me that I forget the supreme importance of wisdom. Will have to pray.

As far as the paedophile analogy (which isn’t a view i adhere too) some could argue that homosexuality is just as morally and sexually dangerous and hinders the ‘normal’ personal and sexual development of one or both of the individuals concerned. Incest has also been likened to it, in alot of cases the ‘victim’ is a willing participant because they have internalised the idea that this is ‘normal’ behaviour, or it feels ‘natural’ to them. Think about it, if a country can legalise you marrying a dog, then why not a member of your immediate family? I mean logically it makes a little more sense than a dog… It’s all theoretical at this point but who knows.

Hey Anthony, join in we need a male perspective as well, we don’t bite I promise.

I have never seen Jesus, yet the experiences I have had show me without a doubt that He is real and I have personal evidence that what he says must be true………Funny thing is, before I just accepted the fact that I need to believe and fully gave over to it, I thought the same as you Frogger in some ways, I tried full heartedly the new age thing and the spiritualist church thing and nothing could even come close to what I now have in Jesus…..

Just dragging this quote out as an example. We can never really understand the masterplan of God ❓ . This is it… all we have to do is invite Jesus, repent and follow his ways 💡 .

The transformation I experienced from not having Christ in my life to the person who cried out to Christ in desperation and being met with such incredible force… I have never experienced anything like it in my life and in that still moment where time stood still, I knew in that instant that God was real. Who is to say that a hindu or a person with the koran can not have the same experience. Sandy was fantastic in her full on analysis… it is great to be challenged by it… and the feeling of knowing my own experience I just know that even a nano seconds of life in our body, if we cry to Jesus… he hold’s his promise and will meet us… a nano second – its even quicker than an eye blink. Just imagine that alone.

The bible talks about getting to heaven and finding the person there who got there by the skin of their teeth. I used to say to God that when I get there… he better help me heaps… although I will rejoice I will be weeping for the ones who did not make it… I will be totally heart broken… while everyone is happy I will be seeking for those that are missing… the bible says that God will wipe away our tears… will he erase my memories because there is no way I could be there and have these memories of people who didn’t make itbecause they choose not to … it would be a feeling of devastation on my part. Hmmmm who knows – I just have to trust that God knows what he is doing.

I just want everyone to be there… I’m sure God wants the same. Smile 😉 . The price Christ paid for us is indeed enormous – it’s so huge and so difficult to incorporate into our small mind. Its so awe inspiring really, just total awe. Hmmmmm These are my thoughts without really reading the bible… you could say these are my passions in life. 🙂

I am open to any challenges in my thinking… I aim to learn as much as I can while I am alive. Guess what, I actually went out and bought The Daily Reading Bible… I used to do that when I was younger in Christ… now I am going back to it… thanks Sandy for your inspiration… you really motivated me to go back to the source – the bible… I can’t wait to find treasures inside God’s words about me and everyone! And the hope that He has for us all.

Thanks Sandy… you have a point here… was talking about this… aparently my partner got a bit of an unhappy look from a pastor who saw one of their’s hugging my partner – it was that look of disgust that alerted my partner. We both suspect that it’s gone a bit further than we know and have given this matter over to God.

Anyway, the thoughts out there is that Gay people are paedophile. Do they not know that most of the paedophile are 99.5% hetrosexuals and these acts can be happening inside the Church (its a reality that I pray that does not happen but its out there and its hushed). I got the shock of my life when I had to attend to Sexual Abuse workshop as part of developing an understanding of issues amongst people with Disability… and having witness firsthand after effect on people with disabilities. that it makes me wonder. If it wasn’t for the satistics and figures… I mean I had to sit there and take it on… everyone in that room was shocked and they factor that into what would happen… there were a number of group work to help us absorb that information… I was so stunned… the statistic was awful. Then we had to get inside the head of a person who were like predators… we had to read this interview… after one page (we were told that we can stop at any time… most people stopped after three paragraph… i stopped after a page… not one person could read the full document… it was just chilling to my bones… at the end we realised one thing… that predators are out there and they are just waiting for the right moment. So everytime I see a child I breath word of God’s protection over them… everytime I see a person on their own, I breath word of God over them… its in my mind its just rebelling against the unatural and yet they are putting us with the group of paedaphile… sick. I do know of a gay male who likes young male and I am always praying against his action… he goes to Thailand… and I prayed that he meets with a heart attack before he takes advantage of any child (boys)… or that all his attempts are foiled… looks like its working because I can look at him and know he met with no success… he can’t travel overseas because of his health….. he looks so ugly that children run away from him. He body odoursmells awful that no one can stand near him for more than 5 mins… so in some ways God has answered my prayers.

so to my point in all this… we need to educate that its hetrosexual so get your eyes of us and start looking in all the right places. I spoke with a female who had years of abuse from male leader in the church and that person is still there… hmmmmm its not pretty… infact its horrible! Lucky this person did not go all the way as much as this leader wanted to … God has intervened. Sigh. Sexual immorality happens inside the church more than outside of the Church! My partner said that no one is looking at the issue of spiritual development… our sexual energy is charged up as we cross over to being Christians… its almost like everything in ourselves charges up 10 fold! We become attractive to anyone… we oooze with beauty etc. Smile.

Hmmmmmm where is this leading us – I have no ideas.

Just to clear things up, I was not suggesting that homosexuals are paedophiles, obviously this is ridiclous.

I have thoughts on sexual immorality within the church and for the sake of the argument I will leave homosexuality off the list (no point opening that can of worms). God’s law imposes morality codes on Christians that are not present in secular society. Meaning that there are many things involving sex that Christians can not do but are quite legal. Sex before marriage and pornography are just two examples. We are all human and pertaining to this all sinful. The problems within the Church are societal problems. They are not as pronounced in secular society and therefore it seems like the Church is wrought with problems when what it comes down to is fallen people living in a fallen world who have rejected God’s rule. For that is what sin is, a rejection of God’s authority, us saying we can do a better job. This happens in and outside of the church, no exception.

Craig, how’s Boswell comming along? You actually inspired me to re-read him as well, I got 70 pages in and started to space out lol, hopefully yu are more dedicated than me. 😉 Let me know how it goes. Also I have accepted a job working in the USA and I leave in three weeks time!! 8) So your prayers for safe travel and the ability to speak “American” and eat jelly donuts for breakfast would be helpful.
