please dont anyone think that i am not respecting Anthony’s work etc… just reminding us of our focus…

The people, the support, etc for those that are coming is what this is about… Anthony has done an amazing thing, with Phill.. he is also the voice… We should support you Anthony as the spokesperson for this part of the journey.

I just think we should focus on the real situations… the journeys of this world…

I hope your not offended, its not directed at anyone at all….

I think its great that we have a balance yes I agree, Its also great to keep the ones out there on the front line supported who are making the groundbreaking (eg. meetings, complete exposure to media for our benefit etc…).

I give God the honour completely for what he has done and is doing through Anthony and Phill together on F2B and also the things we dont hear about, I give thanks for the people who share their stories and thoughts on this site also that helps so many along the way too D .

I also thank God for the people that we dont hear about and wish we could hear about so we could say a big thankyou and encourage them to keep going, so if you are reading this youre doing great where ever you are at and no matter what you are doing thats making a difference either to many, a few or just to your own life D .

But no problem with me pming someone privately to say they are doing a great job of something I know they are out there doing. Its a shame their arent more encouragers out there to encourage the ones that need it most.

I wasn’t offended jannah……I think you’ve made a very valid point…..that is what the forum is really all about……it becomes anything else we have missed the mark i believe.

i was beginning to feel a bit uncomfortable about the numerous mentions of my name and things i’m doing but wasn’t sure how to tackle it. its over to you guys (regular posters) and those lurking behind the scenes to make this fourm dynamic.

If i want to set up a fan club….i’ll do it elsewhere…..hehe. 😆

well might i just say, I think everyone here is totally FANTASTIC!!!!!

What has F2B done for me?????????

more and more each day and every time i get on this site. this site and you guys have helped me to realise i can be gay and christian. But for me there is a much greater thing happening within me. I can not articulate it that well but i am changing and quite quickly. In some ways i have realised the amount of pride that once consumed so much of me. I have over a long time and very aggressively (inwardly only) questioned much of the action and preaching and teaching of the church (in general) particularly those movements/denominations i have been involved in in the past. With that i have realised my own deeply distressing and huge amount of pride i had on different levels not to mention beliefs and biases. I am nowhere near completion, but then i guess we never really are whilst still on this planet. One thing i do know for sure tho, God loves me and wants me to be active on this planet in love. I have been surprised just how much the Spirit of God is present in and around me, and bit by bit and then suddenly a slam of change occurs in me. He is leading me (as with all of us) into something specific and special for the good of His Kingdom and His people.

I am quietly exc ited yet totally scared lol (in a humbling but not crippling way) if that makes sense.

So what has F2B done for me, well indirectly – a great deal, keeping me in some form of fellowship and allowing me the room to grow and make mistakes without condemnation, and not allowing me to fall into a misguided solitude where i would think i was seperated from God and people forever.

Thanks everyone,

honestly,

you have no idea what you all have done for me.

Hi ooooooo, I read your post and was really touched, I wanted to say something several times but just lost for words. Its sooooo awesome isnt it that we all have such an impact in a positive way on each other. Even for the ones that never post, the fact that they are here, shows we are not alone, that in itself is a big thing. Feeling we are alone seemed to be a common thing with all of us at some stage on our journey.

thats great ooooooo

we had our monthly get together in Sydney last night. It amazez me hwo many people talk about what it going on on the site. I come across it all the time. Its happened at conferences i’ve been to as well.

it seems there are lots of lurkers. (btw..that is not a derogatory term). People who jsut read and keep up with what is happening and whats being said. For a variety of reasons they dont post. One guy told me last night. “I dont post as I dont think there is anything else I have to add the discussion. Its all been said. But I read”.

Others are not big internet or forum users…..but they still pop in for a look.

Others might be closeted and to say something on the forum is an act of coming out that they are not ready to do just yet.

All this is fine…….we are glad that we can provide this space for you.

Ok Anthony you have shamed me into joining the discussion.

I have a confession to make… I’m a lurker! I’ve struggled with it for a long time. Drop in and see what people are saying. Then wander on with my daily life without a word. Well now I’m out.

F2b has been a great venue for me to come to a greater understanding of my Pente background and my sexuality. The struggle continues but I’m slowly coming to grips with how the two can operate somewhat in harmony. In some ways my spiritual life is actually growing since I’ve started this journey of discovery.

Thanks everyone for your encouraging comments and interesting insights to life and the journey.
