Just a gentle question then Anthony. Was there anything in that debate that necessitated a reminder of the guidelines? I don’t see how any of them were broken.

thanks for the gentle question Sandy. 😀

thoughtful answer as follows; 😀

no ……not that I was aware of……..just a reminder from some past experiences……..I think it is easy sometimes when we get into the discssions of things we are passionate about that some of the guidelines slip under the radar………and also considering that they may be some who are new to posting on this forum.

I think we keep things pretty good here……..OMG…..as you know some other forums thrive on attack…….nothing gets resolved…….it just continually touches the hurt and raw nerves……bit like pikcing off a scab over and over again (not a nice mental image isn’t it 😆 )……and hence there is no healing.

I’d like to think here at F2B we are a place of healing……..from my experience much of that will happen probably more by the way we communicate than what we communicate.

Scab?????? ewwwwwwwww!!!!!!!! x lol

Yeh that is true, the way we communicate is so important, I guess most of us having come from basically a “listen to what I say and do as I say background or else a,b,c or d” last thing we need is a pushy attitude or one that causes having to make a quick ultimatum.

Sandy, I also want to say that there was nothing in what you said, or your approach to the debate that was not loving, respectful and reasonable.

The emotional baggage was coming up for me due to my past experiences and not because of anything you said/did.

I was not then, and am not, now upset with you, personally.

Blessings,
