Thankyou for prayer for my Dad, he is leaping and bounding gradually ahead….can you please pray for my Mum, she is deteriorating health wise and not looking good at all, just for peace and strength for her and the family…..Thankyou

I’m off to a conference in the USA in four weeks today. See the thread in the ex-gay section……you can all pray for that and for the financial support to get there if you like.

Howdy folks.


So… I went to church yesterday, and discovered that the minister is leaving in about 6 weeks.


My instant reaction was of being frightened. I came to this church from my old one after going through the experience of losing a sympathetic/supportive minister who was replaced by a conservative one who told me he didn’t want me in any kind of leadership or ministry position. I felt I had no choice but to leave that church.


And now, having found a church that felt ‘safe’ to me, I’m now worried about history repeating itself.


I found myself crying during the service a couple of times.

I had a bit of a teary time in church at Hillsong yesterday as well Orfeo……amazing how after all these years the hurt still surfaces at times……thinking of you my friend. Would love you to join us for the anniversary dinner. We’ve never met face to face….and you’ve never met the great bunch we have here in Sydney….and chance of you coming up for the night/weekend. Go on….give yourself a treat.

Which date is that? I have a feeling I’ve seen it mentioned, but I was just scratching around the forum and didn’t find it.
