Sandy will be returning from the states in three days time as we have just recieved news that a six month old baby boy was murdered on the Central Coast today. The mother of the child was arrested and has confessed to the crime. Sandy is well aquainted with the family as their six year old daughter attends an after-school kids program that Sandy runs. The daughter, Jessie is in the care of the state right now and Sandy has applied to be a temporary guardian.

We are all in complete shock. Right now sandy wants to file legal action and gain custody of Jessie permernantly as it seems no other family is willing or able to care for her. Whether this will actually come to pass is another matter as decisions like bringing a child into your life cant be made in the heat of the moment. I will keep you updated.

Thanks Adam, I’m back. So much for my career enhancing oppitunity to work overseas. Jessie will be given into my temporary custody next week pending the final decision her father will make about her care and the outcome of the charges that have been laid against him as an acessory to the murder of his son Luca. Personally I belive that handing Jessie back to her father is akin to signing her death warrent. I will be doing everything in my power to prevent this. This young girl is only six years old and had to endure mothers day a few days ago aware that her mother was under arrest for the murder of her brother… Words don’t do the horror of this situation justice.

Count me in too Sandy for offering prayers of support. Sigh… the little one needs protection and that has already happened. It is going to take a very long time for this to heal over and move on. How are you coping with the changes.

I’d like a prayer for a family who needs constant strength and love. The family has taken on the four siblings that have come from a rather difficult situation and removed… part of the prayers have been answered in that this family has permanent custody of these beautiful children. Children are very restilient ones but the memory of what happened and statement made to them can linger for a long time. I am hoping that prayers can be offered up to release the children from what their natural parents said to them… to be freed and not trapped by spoken words/threats. I also ask for justice to come in God’s timing for these children as natural parents caring for them were acting negilence and dangeriously. Justice is more on the side of the father’s word than the information shared by the child.

I’m hoping that your church is being supportive. my daughter and son in law live on the central coast and go to a church there so if you need some addittional help then let me know.

Sad that the Uni in CA didn’t waver the financial thing considering the circumstances……unless of course it was the airfare which i suppose they woudl have to recoup.

Prayer update Please pray that g/f has favour in court with regards to settling the estate and for strength. Pray that ex’s kids have favor on g/f.
